Seeking wisdom

I forgot to tell you... I got the job!

 

I'm starting on Monday. I'm really looking forward to it!

Ok, so I've finished the interview. I could have done better, but now I have to wait and see if I got the job or not. Luckily I only have to wait until the end of the day to find out!

In the past couple of days one of the flats got broken into and things stolen.

 

Tonight, a different flat was broken into, but for a different reason. The single woman living there had her ex bf come around and yell abuse. Loudly and a lot of it. He smashed her door in and broke her phone. She was very fearful. I know this because during this time my flatmate grabbed a knife and went to confront the guy. The guy didn't know my flamate had a knife, as it was hidden by the banister. Anyway the guy's like "you wanna fight? etc." and my flatmate's like "go ahead". The guy stood there for a while then went away.

 

Anyway, we called the police and Leon described what happened. The woman got a cab to the police station, then she's going to go stay with her parents.

Last night one guy of the three I met recently decided he didn't want to be considered a potential boyfriend anymore. Such a shame. I hope we can aim for friendship, though maybe he doesn't want any contact.

 

I also managed to irritate one of the other guys. One who is usually cool, calm and collected.

 

I didn't chat much with the third guy though.

On Saturday we had the Xmas work party. It was good, but I missed out on a lot because I was working on Saturday and working the next day so I couldn't stay out too late or drink too much.

 

I'll be having my birthday party soon. It should be good!
